Further boosting ventilation is the double front opening and the excellent breathability of the Gore Infinium Windstopper 150 fabric.Not only does the Infinium Windstopper 150 fabric offer excellent breathability and protection from the elements, it is also extremely soft to the touch and stretchy, allowing for a superb fit to provide excellent comfort. Raw-edge waist and wrist cuffs also improve fit and comfort. The excellent weather protection of the Windstopper fabric is improved even further by the addition of a DWR treatment as well as selective seam sealing, with addition seam sealing and double stitching on the shoulders. Along with a waterproof YKK Vislon Zipper, the jacket is essentially waterproof while not compromising it's excellent dry weather performance. An occasional drop may seep through the seams, but you'll still be warm and dry with the jacket letting any internal moisture evaporate with ease. The Alpha also features 3 rear pockets with reflective laser-cut drain holes to boost practicality and visibility.
