The heart of the Ventana Mountain Bike Shoes is their World Cup downhill race-proven sole with a super-stiff nylon shank. This gives instantaneous acceleration as you speed out of berms, tear up big booters and rip up trails with almost cross-country style efficiency. Inside, an injected EVA midsole takes some of the trail chatter out while reinforced toe and heel zones shrug off hits and abrasions. When you're off the bike, the exclusive Sensor® rubber compound grip keeps you sure-footed and nimble across even the slipperiest of terrain. A snug and supportive fit are guaranteed with Giro's one-piece Synchwire™ upper which also features ponded mesh zones to keep feet fresh as the heat of the sun builds through the day. When it comes to getting the fit just right, the Boa® L6 dial lets you tweak pressure by 1mm at a time and combined with a forefoot strap ensures complete precision in how tight or loose you like to run your shoes.
