Covering the laces is a durable cover which along with a neoprene cuff at the ankle keeps dirt, grit and water splashes out. Pedalling PerfectionTurning to the bottom of the shoes, the SPD compatible sole lets you clip in confidently and securely to your pedals. While clipped in, you'll also benefit from the TORBAL™ midsole. This midsole design allows a natural lateral movement of the heel, letting you move and manoeuvre easily, but still maintains excellent pedalling efficiency at the cleats. And talking of efficiency, the sole unit is nicely stiff, 8 out of 12 on the Shimano scale, letting you get the power down with ease.
