The result was the Fiandre Light Bibshort, a short in lightweight water-repellent fabric with a single seam. We used a lighter-weight fabric so the short is not excessively hot, and the water-repellent properties are enhanced by the construction. We added our existing expertise on the structure of the bib straps and the raw-cut leg endings, and our best seat pad for racing, the Bodyfit Pro. The result is a short that you can use in the spring or fall or if it’s not extremely hot and that will become your best ally in the event of thunderstorms or passing showers.
