Our unique process changes the Silicium/Chromium/Steel Alloy mix to produce a super hard, yet lightweight metal that will withstand the highest demands inflicted through MTB. To prevent shock rub, the spring is bi-convex in shape. This will allow the spring to progress freely without any friction when under load. Up to 40% lighter than a steel spring, this hardened Super-light steel (SLS) spring has been designed to fit most rear shocks on the market by using Nukeproof’s unique Reducers and Spacers. Please note: Not compatible with Fox 222mm shocks.
It shares the same stiffness and strength, but in a slightly longer 45mm length. It also features extensive CNC machining to the 6061 aluminium, ensuring outstanding stiffness and a very low weight. A perfect match to the Nukeproof Horizon bars, the Horizon DM Stem is finished off with huge M6 bolts throughout for extra security, making this the perfect option for the most aggressive downhill riders.
In comparison to their firmer "Endurance" model, which aims to be as durable as possible, this "Race" model uses a much softer and grippier A15 Kraton compound to help you maintain your hand position. Ultimate Comfort and Control The Horizon Race grips also feature a unique, multidirectional, and tapered grip pattern that provides a cushioning effect in key areas and grip in all directions. So, whether you prefer to ride with or without gloves, you'll enjoy consistent and comfortable grip no matter how hard you're pushing yourself! Locked on and Supportive With lockrings on either end, these grips are going nowhere. Even as you throw yourself into the berms and land the biggest jumps, they'll maintain a secure connection with the bar. These grips have an asymmetrical inner flange to provide support without obstructing access to your shifter.
In addition to the Warhead cup’s high-quality manufacture for the perfect fit into your frame, the cups come with fully sealed cartridge bearings, which are easily replaceable. There is also the option of upgrading to higher quality Nukeproof ceramic bearings. These individually sold bottom headset cups are available in both internal and external types for both standard and tapered steerer tubes, enabling you to choose the exact setup to suit your frame and fork's sizing standards. This simplifies the process of upgrading forks or completing a new bike build. The cups are constructed from a CNC machined, proprietary aluminium and offer the optimum balance of strength, durability and a low weight. They include split alloy crown races for easy installation and the 1.5” versions can be easily adapted to work with alternative fork steerer types with the addition of the 1 1/8" to 1.5" crown race adaptor (reducer) if required (sold separately).
Manufactured from high-quality 6061aluminium, it uses a unique brass barrel that ensures a secure fit when the clamp is tightened up.
The platform now has increased leading and trailing edge height with knurled traction patches above the axle body to increase overall traction. Along with this, an updated pin layout will ensure the rider’s foot remains ‘planted’ on the pedal to provide improved grip and performance. Seven replaceable and adjustable alloy pins per side allow you to customise the level of grip to meet your own requirements.
