The cups in this Shimano BB71 road bottom bracket are made from a fibre reinforced polymer material, which reduces the risk of frame noise and damage. It also includes left and right-hand cups, an inner cover, and inner O-rings.

This Race Face X-Type bottom bracket is designed to be used with X-Type or EXI cranksets. Manufactured from high-strength aluminIum and featuring custom retainer bearings. Bottom bracket cups are forged and CNC-machined from 6066 aluminium. Tapering wall construction to minimise weight. Custom 6805 16 ball retainer bearing. Bearings feature Race Face's custom triple wiper seal to better retain grease and keep contaminants out. Bearings are factory filled with Phil Wood waterproof grease that's tested proven to extend bearing life.

You will need the 6806 bearings already installed into the BB30 shell to start this conversion.
