Eclat have designed a brand new cassette TCS (Toothed Coupling System) mechanism which features 2 couple d toothed ratchet rings which are inside the hub and the driver. The two rings are pushed together with a very special design of spring, which allows the hub to transfer power in one direction, and “freewheel” in the other. Basically a much stronger internal mechanism, which can’t fail even after years of heavy use. The Balance cassete hub features precision sealed bearing and comes with dual built in Primo nylon guards and is laced to the VS rim. Made from 7005 aluminium and featuring a V shaped I beam construction for added strength and holes drilled in the inner wall to save weight.
