Northwave lab R&D department and Polartec® have developed the Fast Polar shoecover in order to keep the most exposed ends of the body warm and isolated. The inner padding of the covers are made of recycled Polartec® Alpha Direct, to ensure superior warmth and breathability and continuous transfer of excessive heat and moisture to the outside, guaranteeing major comfort during inclement weather rides.This effect is made possible by the exclusive technology of the insulating fabric where lofted fibres are connected to a solid mesh core. Polartec® Alpha Direct is also inherently hydrophobic so it resists humidity and dries incredibly quickly. Extra protection is given by the external windproof membrane while the reflective details increase visability. A rear full opening zip provides easy access.
