In order to try and close the gap in power to their disc brakes, SRAM design the Red brake caliper with their Dual Pivot arms, which has been designed to increase braking power, teamed with the standard fit SwissStop Flash Pro brake pads and you have a very powerful caliper brake.The Dual Pivot arms also mean the Red Brake Caliper happily works with modern, wider road wheelsets and tyres and is capable of accepting up to a 28c tyre in order to maximise compatibility and comfort. The finish of the calipers also matches the new Force eTap AXS groupset, so you have a full collar and cuffs setup for that full factory look.
