The unique Oxic rim surface treatment, developed just for DT Swiss gives the PR 1400 the best wet or dry rim breaking performance ever achieved on a road bike with no howling or excessive pad wear, the SBWT welded rim which features a wider 18mm internal diameter (21.5mm external) makes the PR 1400 suitable for 23-35c tyres offering the versatility to handle cross or gravel riding if required and DT Swiss legendary and exceptionally reliable Ratchet Rear Freehub System ensures the hubs are solid under drive, lightweight and easy to service. DT Swiss have equipped the PR 1400 with DICUT hubs which give the widest possible flange spacing for cornering stiffness, strength and durability, laced with a combination of their renowned Aerolite and Aero Comp spokes for the perfect balance of stiffness, comfort and low weight. The wheels also come tubeless ready but can be used with standard Clinchers, and include SwissStop BXP Blue brake pads, custom Oxic RWS skewers, rim tape and a premium tubeless valve system by milKit.
