With protection at its core whatever your adventure, the Trenta Road Cycle Helmet MIPS-C2®’s brain protection system enables the helmet to slide relative to the head in the event of a collision, redirecting any potential damaging rotational movement. Ensuring your speed and flow aren’t impacted, the front NACA vent and rear deflectors work together to keep you cool and reduce temperature build-up by distributing a balanced airflow throughout. Performing best when riding in a group, this cycle helmet has been enhanced for use in the peloton and is completed with a tube-shaped tail that offers up to 7% reduction in drag in comparison to a traditional road helmet. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head. Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
