The key to the performance of the Women's C7 Gore-Tex SHAKEDRY Jacket is it's SHAKEDRY™ product technology. This membrane construction removes heavy face fabrics leaving a remarkably light jacket that is also incredibly breathable, whilst maintaining complete rain protection. The permament waterproof shell also resists wetting out - this has two advantages - first any water can simply be shaken off the surface, no seeping in - and secondly because the surface doesn't wet out you don't get temperature differential inside and out and hence no condensation forming inside. Even when working hard you'll never feel the chill of cold sweat build up. The slim, cycling specific fit ensures you're not battling flapping fabric either - more energy for those long rides. To the rear the lower hem has a dropped design adding welcome protection to the lower back and giving a perfect fit when you're in a riding position. An elasticated hem keeps the jacket nicely in place too. If you're going to be riding in rain all day then you'll be glad you have a Gore-Tex SHAKEDRY Jacket to hand. With a barely there weight it's easily stowed in a pocket ready for the worst the weather can throw at you.
