The stretch-woven fabric blocks much of the wind, but enough can get through to quickly evaporate away sweat. A water-repellent finish is also ideal when roads are damp and there’s drizzle hanging in the air. Across the inside of the chest, sleeves and upper back you’ll find Polartec® Alpha® insulation. This works well with the partially windproof outer, providing warmth without any sacrifice to flexibility, weight and breathability. While aerodynamics isn’t a primary concern in winter, the Flight Jacket Air is still cut close to the body for speedy performance. This lets you slip through the air easier and saves some precious energy as you’re not being dragged back by flapping fabric. An easy-sliding YKK® Vislon® zipper makes it quick and simple to regulate airflow and temperature. 3 back pockets can be loaded up for a day on the saddle. And with reflective details, you’ll be visible when the daylight begins to wane.
