The MTB Trail 3.0 Helmet is ideally suited to those of you who love to ride a bit of everything. From big trails to XC loops to enduro, it's got what it takes to protect you in a fall. Should you find yourself heading for a crash, the Trail 3.0 absorbs head impacts via a combination of in-moulded impact foam and a PowerBridge in-moulded force absorber. Together they work hard to reduce the chance of serious injury, soaking up and dissipating harmful forces. To the outside, a lightweight Polymer Compound Shell adds structural strength and brushes off those inevitable little knocks you get from overhanging bushes and branches. A removable visor adds sun and rain protection too, and it breakaways in a crash, reducing rotational forces to the head. 360 ̊ Turbine Technology The impact absorbing construction is complemented by the 360 ̊ Turbine Technology. This is focused on reducing the damaging effects of a crash on your brain. It works via 360 ̊moving discs, all made from an energy-absorbing material. These impart a reduction of rotational acceleration to the head and brain by up to 40%. The system also improves the absorption of impact energy - it reduces peak brain acceleration by up to 30% at the impact speeds associated with concussion.
