The Campagnolo Shamal Ultra C17 is the very first complete wheelset with each component in its build being specifically designed as a complete unit to ensure unparalleled efficiency and performance. This model has continued to introduce new technologies that would change the way aluminium performance wheels were produced. The modern Campagnolo Shamal Ultra C17 Clincher includes all of the aforementioned technologies and represents years of solid research and development that culminates in the updated version of this prestigious line of wheels. This wider profile meets the C17 standard and is perfect for use with the increasingly popular tyre sizes. The updated Shamal was studied specifically to increase compatibility with 25 and 28mm road tyres. This rim/tyre interface proves to be more aerodynamic when compared to the same size tyres mated to a C15 rim. The C17 also allows for a more surefooted grip on the road in addition to increased comfort while increasing rigidity and thus reactivity at the same time thanks to its wider stance and optimised material usage. Technologies: MoMag™ "Mounting Magnet" System: No holes on the rim means that the rim is uniform at every point, free from stress points or zones of weakness and, for the clincher profiles no rim tape is required, reducing the overall weight.
