Wide-rimmed for increased aerodynamics and deep rimmed for efficient performance, this wheel will give you the advantage in your chosen event. Capable of achieving faster speeds from the same physical effort thanks to the 85mm deep aero rim profile, the 27.5mm wide rim brilliantly contours to the tyre for the best aerodynamics. Made of a R010, CNC machined 6061 alloy hub body and DT Swiss straight pull spokes, the wheel gives top end weight distribution with a greater strength to weight ratio, while providing increased reactivity, making for a stiffer and more durable wheel. The Prime BlackEdition 85 Carbon Front Wheel ticks all the boxes for the time-trialist or triathlete in their quest for victory and comes bundled with a Prime QR skewer, Prime Carbon Brake Pads, tubeless valve and tape, 2 spare spokes and nipples. Since the release of the BlackEdition range in 2018, we've been working hard behind the scenes with Vitus Pro Cycling in search of the marginal gains that could help them in some of the UK's biggest races. The 2020 BlackEdition is the result. Lightweight RimWe've experimented with numerous types of resin and tested countless new lay ups before we settled on our new and improved BlackEdition rim. But, that's not all, we've upgraded to a higher grade of carbon, saving precious grams, and improving on the impact strength/weight ratio making the new BlackEdition our best rim yet.
