Taken as a whole, these do a great job of resisting water ingress and give the trousers an overall waterproof rating of 20000mm. While rain is kept out, during harder exertions on your bike excellent breathability also prevents a build-up of moisture on the inside - this ensures you arrive at your destination feeling fresh. An elasticated waist keeps the fit just right. And you have belt loops should you need extra security while a zipped fly and popper closure gives a secure fit too.
