Tana The Tana range is designed to enhance the performance of the female triathlete – like no other on the market. We worked with and listened to our female athletes to develop this high-performance range – and we think we’ve cracked it. We heard over and over again that women’s tri kit were either too masculine or not good enough quality in the triathlon marketplace – now we know that the Tana range hits all the right buttons. This exclusive line has been designed in collaboration with Tana Ramsay who has helped to iron some of the issues female triathletes had with tri kit in the past.
The long valve inner tube enables you to use these with deep section rims (40mm, 50mm and above) as the shorter valve would not extend out of the rim valve hole. Shorter valve inner tubes are ideal for wheels with rim depths of 24mm or 30mm. Presta valve tubes are most commonly used for road wheels (650c) and on a few MTB wheels as the valves are thin, whereas Schrader valves are more commonly found on MTB wheels as valve is larger and won't fit through 650c rim valve holes. 650c Wheel Sizing Be aware that when purchasing a 650c inner tube, tyre, or wheel from the Wiggle site that what you are buying is smaller than a more conventional road 700c inner tube, tyre, or wheel. Most road bikes nowadays come fitted, as standard, with 700c wheels (including inner tubes and tyres) and not 650c. A 650c inner tube or tyre WILL NOT fit a 700c wheel. Please read the 650c Wheel Sizing guide explaining the difference between 650c and 700c wheels. Based on ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) dimensions, 650c wheels are smaller than 700c wheels by about eight percent. Please, when on this page make sure you are buying the correct tyre size for you wheel. Check the sizing on your tyre before purchasing from this page. Tyre sizes tend to be printed on the sidewalls so please check before making a purchase.
