Being a leading example of advanced Italian road bike technology – the Campagnolo Bora Ultra 50's are the wheelset of choice for World Champions and Grand Tour winners when faced with rolling roads and flat terrain. In this clincher-compatible iteration, they also offer an exceptional level of serviceability too. As a result of the 50mm deep rim, this wheelset maximises aerodynamic gain and rider efficiency on flat roads. However, despite the enormous aerodynamic gains on offer, the Campagnolo Bora Ultra's are somewhat uncharacteristically lightweight compared with other aero wheelsets. Weighing just 1435 grams per pair, these wheels help you dance up climbs with almost as much ease as they help you motor over the flat. Due to the new slightly larger, 24.2mm outer rim width, this wheelset also accommodates much wider tyres than the previous model - drastically improving rider comfort as well as control and grip out on the road. While carbon rims have historically had a reputation for poor braking, with the development of AC3 (All Conditions Carbon Control) technology, Campagnolo has broken the mould. By applying this technology to the braking track, the Campagnolo Bora Ultra's offer a 40% improvement in braking performance in the wet, and 20% better braking performance in drier conditions. At the centre of these wheels are a set of oversized, high flanged carbon-fibre hubs. These are filled with Campagnolo's proprietary CULT ceramic bearings, designed to help the wheels spin smoother, for longer.
