Scarpa's Mescalito Approach Shoes are built around a Vibram® Dynamis sole unit that uses LiteBase Technology, which significantly reduces the weight of the shoe. This is combined with a bi-density EVA midsole that provides expert cushioning, especially compared to more traditional approach shoes, to ensure a supportive, comfortable stride. Plus, the Vibram grip lends maximum traction on a variety of surfaces, including smooth terrain. The upper of the Mescalito shoes are also constructed from a thermo-embossed suede, offering an individual fit without too much stretch. Additionally, an updated rubber rand around the toe and heel provides optimum durability with minimal bulk. This lace-to-toe design combined with the stretch fit tongue guarantees the best possible foothold.
