The Mucky Nutz Face Fender XL is the original and Patent Pending fork mounted mudguard. The XL Face Fender is the same thickness as the Standard Fast Fender but provides ultimate protection at a modest 32g. Like most folk the guys at Mucky Nutz don't like using large, ugly mudguards, so decided to look at other options. After many failures and even uglier mudguards the penny dropped and they came up with the Face Fender. Made from sheet thermoplastic, the profile of the mudguard is shaped so that when it's installed on the fork via the hook and loop fasteners, it catches mud, spray and whatever else you might pick up...! The hook and loop fasteners act as a simple and quick way to install and detach the mudguard.
