Shadow worked closely with Mark Burnett, designing the Odin Fork to be a lightweight, durable fork that suits all of Mark's needs. Modern Forks are far from perfect so together they've tried to eliminate as many faults as possible, the steer tube is threadless for increased strength and is also designed to increase strength at the bearing race, another point where forks typically break. Hydroformed legs with butted thickness because the hydroforming makes it stronger than the typical weld and polish that other forks use. Working on the design of the Odin Stem with Mark Burnett, Shadow wanted it to really cater to the modern rider . Rider’s are going taller and taller with their handlebar heights so it was only appropriate to design a stem that would allow riders to sustain this taller handlebar preference. Mark Burnett also added to the design by requesting a shorter overall reach. Not only catering to his preference, this allows the stem to be much shorter and stout. Creating an overall stronger design.
