The hubs for this newly designed wheel are differentiated between front and rear in order to optimise weight savings while considering structural and performance necessities that change with the individual roles of the two wheels. The Campagnolo Shamal Ultra C17 2-Way fit wheelset represents the pinnacle of tubeless-ready alloy road wheels – they’re fast, stiff, light, and durable. Weighing just 1475 grams per pair, these wheels offer an incredibly responsive ride feel and fly up climbs with ease. With a broader rim this wheelset accommodates larger tyres, and thanks to the new 2-way fit rim design, you can also go tubeless to maximise puncture protection for the roughest roads. Campagnolo has combined these rims with carbon and alloy hubs. With high alloy flanges and proprietary USB ceramic bearings, these hubs boast both incredible stiffness and a lasting smooth spin. These hubs are laced to the rim via 16 bladed alloy spokes on the front and 21 on the rear. For MY21 the Crossway family gets a makeover. All disc equipped Crossway models get a new TFS frame which uses a much slimmer tube profile giving the bikes a much lighter and sporty look. Cables are internally routed and colour ways are kept simple to maintain the modern appearance. Only the 10V frame remains unchanged as it is all about the lowest price. The Crossway Urban is discontinued, the MY20 Speeder revamp made it far more versatile and closed the narrow gap that the Urban occupied.
