The 2023 Misfit balance bike is dialed for an average sized rider with frame/fork geometry that works well. And thanks to a TIG welded steel frame/fork/handlebar it’s a real BMX bike, not a weird plastic toy. Although most little ones are daredevils Fit have still done everything they can to make learning to shred as safe as possible. A vertical rear axle slot keeps the wheel in place even if loose. For 2023 Fit have added a 31mm offset fork and made it easier to pedal with a Fit 24T sprocket and shorter cranks. Braking on smaller bikes is a real concern so they’ve upgraded to wider rims to work with the Odyssey Springfield brakes, which are easy to pull and even easier to adjust.
