How to Use Locking The Blade: Pulling the blade fully open will click it into a locked position, making sure it won't slip or wobble while in use. The body of the knife has an indentation adjacent to the locking mechanism. Pushing the locking mechanism away from the blade allows you to safely push the knife blade closed for your next use. Changing The Blade: Once the knife is fully opened, push the knurled knob above the blade from the logo side of the knife. Pull the blade firmly and it will leave the housing. Reverse the process to install a new blade.

Made from a heat-treated alloy, the Park Tool cassette tool FR-5.2 allows for the removal of cones and locknuts. It has 12 splines that are approximately 23.4mm across, the one-inch base allows it to be used with a wench or a bench vice. Please Note: Always use a skewer or axle nut to hold tool firmly in place during removal and installation. The Park Tool FR-5.2 is designed for 12 spline 23.4mm diameter tool fittings - the most common tool fitting found on 7-12 speed cassette lockrings. An up-to-date version of Park Tool's BBT-30.3, this set gives a longer length to work with wider fat bottom bracket shells, making it a fantastic tool to add to any garage or professional bike workshop. How To Use: To remove the bearing, the remover is fed through the shell until the flat head goes into the opposite side bearing. Once engaged, the tool's plastic guide will fit into the near-side shell opening to hold the tool steady while you tap the handle end firmly with a hammer, until the bearing pops out. To install new bearings, the bundled bushings (included) are used with a headset press (not included) to quickly and accurately press the bearings into the shell.
