This replacement kit enables a water bottle cage to be mounted within the frame of the 2021-2022 Nukeproof Megawatt bike. Mounting the bottle within the frame protects it from dirt and impacts. The Water Bottle Adaptor Kit can be seen in the exploded diagram here.
This front thru-axle features a high-quality 7075 aluminium build, which makes it not only lightweight but also very strong and durable on your mountain bike (MTB). This makes it a great choice of upgrade for riders who need to replace their damaged or lost stock axle on their forks. The axle has a washer which helps reduce pressure on the fork legs and transfers some of the tightening torque to the clamping load. This also helps to increase stiffness, while preventing the axle from getting stuck when you want to remove it. All axles are a 6mm hex on the non-drive side and have a backup 6mm hex on the drive-side, allowing the axle to be tightened and loosened from either side of the bike. Always apply a small amount of grease to the axle and threads when installing your axle. Please note: Not compatible with 2021 Fox 36mm / 38mm forks. This kit is perfect to have in your spares box in the event of your original breaking. It is designed to mount the shock mounting hardware into the frame.
At 10mm shorter than Nukeproof's standard valve, this 35mm tubeless valve is less likely to be struck by trail debris such as rocks. The lower profile valve is complimented with further strength gains by using brass and a revised wall thickness. As a result, these updates make the valve super strong and only 2g heavier at 14g for the pair. As with Nukeproof's standard valves, this valve is fully compatible with tyre insert systems such as Nukeproof ARD and other brands. This model also benefits from a removable core, ensuring you can get the most airflow from your pump or cartridge. The head of this valve has also been designed to sit on top, enabling easier inflation and deflation. The same custom cap has been used with the integrated core remover, which allows for the core to be removed and fitted without specialist tools, while at the trailside or working from home. The nut has been designed so that you can get a good grip on the flat edges to firmly tighten the valve to the rim. An O-ring is included and sits against the outside of the rim to prevent damage from the nut tightening against the rim. How to Install Remove the valve cap and nut, insert the valve through the rim, fit the O-ring to the valve, thread on the nut and tighten by hand.
